First, let me say Ernie at Homer Inspection Services is the best. Homer Inspection Services is truly a 5-star company. The inspection process was incredibly thorough, detailed, and easy to understand from start to finish. What really stood out was the time he took to sit down with me afterward to review everything, explain the proper fixes, and even discuss whether the builder’s proposed solutions would actually be sufficient. That level of professionalism and care is hard to find.
I’ve built multiple homes over the years and have worked with several third-party inspectors, but this was by far the best inspection experience I’ve had. The attention to detail, knowledge, and willingness to educate me throughout the process gave me a great deal of confidence moving forward.

Great experience for a first time home buyer ( condo) who knows nothing about HVACs, electric or plumbing. Inspection was thorough and Ernie took time to explain and answer my questions. The report was thorough and available almost instantly after the inspection was completed. They even answered my questions the week after the inspection.

We hired Homer Inspection Services for an older home that we are purchasing in Marietta, PA and Ernie did an excellent job. He set up an inspection within three days, met our broker onsite and reviewed the property thoroughly. We received a completed report that was organized in sections with comments, photos, and cost estimates for repairs. He also called before and after submitting the report and answered additional questions that we had. I would highly recommend them as they are prompt, knowledgeable, and very professional.
