I highly recommend Homer Inspection Services! I only have good things to say about this company. We purchased our home back in August of 2023. Unfortunately due to the competitiveness of the market, we had to pass on obtaining a home inspection. We always knew that we would appreciate having one completed on our home one day. We found Homer Inspection Services on google. Chris, the home inspector, was very kind, knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. We were working from home during the service and it was nice to get updates and comments on different areas of the home during the inspection. We are very grateful for the information that Chris shared with us during the inspection and included in the report. The report was completed fast! We are beyond happy with the service! The peace of mind and knowledge obtained from the home inspection report is priceless! Update: 8/9/2024 The inspector recommended that we get water sensors and pans to go underneath a few of our appliances so that we could be alerted of leaks. We thought it was a great idea, but didn’t act on this advice right away. Fast forward, our washer machine started leaking right 24 hours vacation! Issue was fixed and now we have water sensors all over our house! The inspector also recommend we get a fire safe door that leads from our garage to our kitchen. After the washer machine leak incident we didn’t waste another second getting the fire safe door! The importance of having an experienced and knowledge home inspector give you advice and knowledge of your home is priceless! Protect your biggest asset (your home) and get your home inspected!

Chris came by to do a mold inspection of my apartment and he was fantastic! We'd originally booked the wrong service and he was able to make the switch onsite and still perform the inspection we needed. He was thorough, super knowledgeable, and made me feel super safe in an apartment with a water intrusion that was causing damage to me ceiling/mold. I would recommend Home Inspection Service (especially Chris) to anyone!

Chris performed an inspection of a condo for me. Chris's work totally exceeded what I'd expected in a home inspection. He methodically went through the entire property and explored, examined, and tested EVERY element. Chris always took time to explain to me what he was doing and why, and he encouraged me to ask questions, all of which he answered in terms I could easily understand. The whole inspection process concluded with a very detailed report (received on that same day) that documented Chris's findings (supported with numerous photos), along with recommendations for dealing with issues he'd discovered.
